HMS offers several fun and engaging after-school clubs!
ALL clubs run from 3:20pm to 4:30pm.
An activity bus is available for transportation.
Parents, please pick up promptly at 4:30pm.
Snacks are provided for our club attendees.
Students must remain the club at all times.

About Girl Talk:
Girl Talk is a welcoming after-school club for all girls in 6th through 8th grade. We meet every
Monday after school in the library to connect, share, and support each other. The club provides
a safe space for girls to discuss friendships, family, hygiene, community service, and how to
make good choices when facing challenges.
Girl Talk also gives students the chance to meet with older high school girls who share their
experiences and advice. The goal is to bring girls together who might not interact during the
school day, helping everyone feel included and maybe even make a new friend.

Sign-Ups & Participation:
Sign-ups happen at the beginning of the school year.
Permission slips, provided by our club leader Lisa, must be signed by a parent.
Sign-ups are flexible, but all members should be signed up by the big Halloween party
in October.

Life happens! If you have sports or other commitments, you are welcome to come and go
as your schedule allows.

Why Join?
Girl Talk is about coming together, supporting one another, and knowing you’re not alone
during the sometimes-awkward middle school years. It’s a safe space to ask questions, share
your thoughts, and connect with a group of girls who understand.
Sign-Up Locations:
Library – sign-up sheets are available throughout the year.
Front Table – available on the first day of school and during Back-to-School Night.
